Dragon Country welcomes Walmart Connect SVP Rich Lehrfeld
I was honored last week to join business students from our Division of Health, Science, and Technology for a presentation from Rich Lehrfeld, a senior vice president of Walmart Connect. Walmart Connect is one of the world’s largest omnichannel advertising platforms and has grown its business by more than 36% over the last year.
Lehrfeld shared a wealth of information about his executive role with the company and the future of digital advertising and commerce. His insights as a former Mercer County Community College student in West Windsor Township, NJ, particularly impacted students in both classes.
I have seen a lot of corporate presentations where the costs for attendees come at a premium to hear perspectives from a leading official of one of the world’s largest corporations. Lehrfeld thought enough of HCC and our students to share with us at no cost, and that says a lot about our community and his generosity.
We are grateful to Lehrfeld for delivering a dynamic presentation for our community. I am also grateful to adjunct professor Jeff Levitt for arranging this event, department chair Linda Mercurio, and Dean Christianne Aranguran for supporting this event.
