HCC Trustee Carl Perkins to be featured for 42 years as aquarium volunteer diver

Howard Community College Board of Trustees member Carl Perkins will be profiled by WBAL this evening for his more than 42 years as a volunteer diver at the National Aquarium in Baltimore. 

Dr. Perkins is an award-winning educator with a distinguished 39-year career as a teacher and principal in the Howard County Public School System. He has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland Baltimore County and formerly at McDaniel College and has dedicated service to the community through work with the Howard County Chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and the Morgan State University National Alumni Association.

Dr. Perkins' profile will air around 5:45 p.m. this evening, Tuesday, June 18.
