Howard Community College Announces Pending Certification of Service Employees International Union

The Howard Community College Board of Trustees and President Daria J. Willis fully support the contributions of its faculty members and recognize the importance of their expertise in delivering quality education to our students. Adjunct faculty at the college have voted in the affirmative to be represented by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU)  for collective bargaining at the institution. Representation is formally certified by the Public Employee Relations Board (PERB).

As HCC and SEIU seek opportunities for collaboration, we embrace a shared goal of cultivating excellence in teaching, learning, and training. We look forward to dialogue that centers student achievement for our campus community and Howard County.
