WATCH - Howard Community College featured in 'Raising Up' student parent documentary

Ascend at the Aspen Institute has debuted ‘Raising Up,’ a documentary series on the lives and challenges facing student parents on college campuses nationwide.

Howard Community College President Daria J. Willis and Abigail Bediako, a graduating criminal justice major, are prominently featured in the short film on childcare. The film focuses on HCC’s efforts to reopen its campus children’s learning center and Abby’s commitment to navigating parenting, work, and school.
