Howard County Councilwoman Deb Jung Visits HCC Boys & Girls Club

A HUGE thank you to Howard County Councilwoman Deb Jung, who took time out of her busy schedule today to visit our Boys & Girls Club.

Councilwoman Jung has always been among our community’s greatest supporters of youth programming and development. She applauded HCC for being the state’s first community college to host a club, and shared with us her tremendous insights and experience in building the county’s commitment to family engagement through public and private partnerships.

We thank the councilwoman, our entire County Council, County Executive Calvin Ball, and the Boys & Girls Club for expanding Dragon Country as a valuable resource for children in our surrounding campus community. As the Boys & Girls Club at HCC continues to inspire children through the arts, academic enrichment, and sports, we are grateful for our legislative partners who believe in our mission as a thriving anchor institution for Howard County.
