Moving HCC Forward with new standards in human resources
Howard Community College has a rich service history to our students, employees and surrounding communities and region. Part of what makes our service notable among large-sized organizations across several industries is our ability to adapt to change.
From public health crises to technological advancement, changes in policy, or shifting trends that alter the scope of student support and success, we are defined by our flexibility and willingness to make data-driven decisions fueled by care for people.
Over the previous eight months, we have been working with CampusWorks to upgrade our technology, finance, and HR services and systems, resulting in notable improvements and constructive outcomes. During this partnership, we have discovered some opportunities to expand and accelerate efficiency and compliance standards within the division.

The human resources industry faces many changes, particularly at the outset of a new federal administration. To build and maintain a high level of service for our employees, strict compliance with federal and state laws and regulations must be a part of our strategic outlay in this critical area.
CampusWorks will be fully integrated and present in the campus community (maintaining office space, HCC email addresses, employee-focused engagement, etc.). The company has been recognized five straight years as a Great Place to Work and as a Top 50 Best Workplaces in Consulting and Professional Services.
